The “Must-Follow IoT Company” Award recognizes and celebrates the companies and teams that are creating excitement within the industry and anticipation for what these companies will deliver next.

“We’re pleased to be recognized as a ‘Must-Follow’ company by our peers, it’s further validation that we have the right IoT data-sharing platform solution and strategy, and the industry is taking notice,” said Keith Steele, CEO, PrismTech.  “The key to unlocking all the significant benefits projected to be delivered by IoT and Industrial IoT systems is to ensure end-to-end data-centricity within the architecture.  Thanks to PrismTech’s Vortex intelligent data-sharing platform, we play a crucial role in ensuring that the data is liberated from devices and stovepipe infrastructure.”

Vortex provides the most efficient solution for device-to-device, device-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud Internet scale real-time data sharing.  It is ideally suited for IoT applications and is based on the Data Distribution Service (DDS) open standard.  Vortex is a crucial enabler for systems that have to reliably and securely deliver high volumes of data with stringent end-to-end qualities-of-service (QoS) making it suitable to deliver the right information to the right place at the right time.

In addition to being named an IoT Award Winner, PrismTech has earned many recent accolades from industry and strategic management organizations including designation as a Gartner ‘Cool Vendor’ and a Sand Hill Group ‘Needle Mover’ in building the future of the IoT.  A recent independent study also recognized PrismTech’s Steve Jennis, senior vice president of corporate development, in its Top 10 list of the most influential IoT executives.
