PrismTech’s CTO Elected to OMG Architecture Board

New appointment recognizes PrismTech’s ongoing commitment to Object Management Group (OMG) open architecture initiatives

Boston, MA, USA – December 12, 2013 – PrismTech™, a global leader in standards-based, performance-critical middleware, today announced that Angelo Corsaro Ph.D., the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) has been elected to the Object Management Group™’s (OMG™) Architecture Board (AB).  The OMG’s AB has responsibility for reviewing each new OMG standard before it is adopted.

“I’m delighted that OMG’s membership has recognized Angelo’s expertise by electing him to the OMG AB, where I’m confident that he will make a significant contribution to maintaining the architectural consistency of OMG’s specifications such as the Data Distribution Service for Real-time Systems,” said Richard Mark Soley, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO, OMG.

Angelo Corsaro is a widely known and cited expert in the field of real-time and distributed systems, middleware, and software patterns, has authored several international standards and enjoys over 10+ years of experience in technology management and design of high performance mission- and business-critical distributed systems.  Angelo Corsaro is CTO at PrismTech where he directs the technology strategy, planning, evolution, and evangelism of its market leading (open source and commercial) DDS implementation.
